Whatever meal you have planned, Cafe Mojo can help you pair a fantastic drink. The Pilgrims most likely enjoyed ale with their meal, so here is a guide to choose your brew:
- Traditional Turkey - Amber ale or lager like Oktoberfest, brown ale, or a strong golden ale like triple
- Smoked Turkey- a hoppy brown ale, Scotch ale, or porter
- Ham- Weizen, weizenbock, dubbel or dark lager
- Pumpkin Pie- Spiced ale, winter warmer or old ale
- melt one stick of butter
- mix 12 ounces of ale with the butter
- pour over the turkey
- baste with the beer butter approximately every 20 minutes
- about halfway through the cooking time, pour another 12 ounces of ale over the turkey
- continue to baste approximately every 20 minutes
